Message COVID-19

There is nothing more important to us than health, safety and respect for our community. Our decision making is evolving in response to the evolving situation related to VIDOC-19. We continue to follow the direction of the Public Health Branch and governments.

Our website remains operational, including information about the deceased. Funeral information may be released at a later date to adapt to changing circumstances. You can still send messages of sympathy through the site.

We are available to answer all your questions and we continue to welcome families who are experiencing the death of a loved one. We are aware of the importance of funeral rituals. By talking with the families, we will be able to create meaningful rites and choose the best way to adapt to different situations. We will evaluate with them requests for postponement of public rituals. Receptions (buffet, bar service) are suspended. Funerals in churches are no longer possible at this time.

We will ensure that we serve families and the community in a responsible, safe and respectful manner. However, we recommend that families hold more intimate events and adopt safe behaviours such as avoiding physical contact, maintaining a social distance of 1-2 metres, washing hands more often, staying home when symptoms occur, and advising people with weakened immune systems not to attend the funeral.

We wish to reassure our visitors that rigorous preventive maintenance of our facilities is carried out daily and that our staff has taken all preventive measures to prevent contamination. In addition, we make hand sanitizers available to our clients.

The application of preventive measures is essential. We will invite any person who returns from a trip abroad, who presents flu-like symptoms or who would declare himself in voluntary isolation to leave our facilities. In addition, as requested by the government, we recommend that people over the age of 70 avoid attending public events.

We need to make some adjustments to the operation of our funeral home. Telephone service is always available 24 hours a day. We continue to respond to families at all times and will evaluate with them the appropriateness of an appointment and/or arrangement by e-mail.

Please be assured of our commitment to continue to provide the community with high quality funeral services. These measures are necessary to continue our operations during this period of uncertainty. Thank you for continuing to show your confidence in us.
