Mrs. Bernice Goudreau of Hawkesbury passed away on Monday, December 23, 2024 at the age of 93.
She was the beloved wife of the late John Baptiste Goudreau;
daughter of the late John Durocher and Diana Durocher;
cherished mother of Darlene, Barry (Kathy), Denise (Steve) and Karen (Dave);
loving grandmother of Melissa, Michelle (Daniel), Derek, Selina (Megan) and Lisa (Greg);
great grandmother of Hayden, Lea, Gabby, Leo and Logan;
the dear sister of Gloria and Sharon (Marty);
the adoring longtime partner of the late Donald Bastien, and remembered lovingly by his children.
She is predeceased by her sisters Dorothy (the late Bill) and Valerie (the late Lloyd), as well as by her brother Donald (the late Shirley).

She is survived by many cousins, nephews, nieces, friends and many more extended family members.

The family would like to thank the staff of the Prescott-Russell Residence for their kindness and good care.

Bernice was a sweet, kind, gentle and nurturing mother and grandmother. Her home was always a place of love, laughter and magic. Between her holiday treats for the kids and magical decorations, and of course, delicious home-made meals, she always knew how to share her love and kindness to all. She leaves a legacy of unconditional love behind, a sweetness and wisdom that will be passed down to future generations.


Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Berthiaume Family Funeral Home, 416 McGill, Hawkesbury, Ontario (877) 632-8511.

A celebration of life will be held in the spring in the intimacy of family and friends.
