DEATH NOTICE
Mrs. Germaine Lachapelle (née Sammut) of Hawkesbury passed away peacefully on Monday, December 8, 2025, at the age of 89.
She was the loving wife of the late Alphonse Lachapelle;
the daughter of the late Benoit Sammut and the late Eva Marion;
she was preceded by her sisters Cécile (late Pierre Lachapelle) and Claire, as well as her brother Roger.
She is also survived by several cousins, nephews, nieces, and friends.
The family would like to thank the staff at Manoir Carillon and the Roger Seguin Care Centre for their excellent care.
A private service was held.
For those who wish to do so, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, 55 St. Clair Avenue West, Suite 500, Toronto, Ontario, M4V 2Y7, would be appreciated.
