DEATH NOTICE
Mr. Edgar Lapensée of Vankleek Hill passed away on Monday, May 4, 2026, at the age of 84.
He was the devoted husband of the late Lucille and the partner of Marie-Reine.
He was the son of the late Arthur Lapensée and the late Desneiges Gervais;
the beloved father of the late Jocelyne (Serge), the late Sylvie (the late Luc), Marc (June), and Nathalie (Daniel);
the adored grandfather of Lyne, Éric, Karina, Thomas, Travis, Krisha, Mathieu, Michel, Christine, Kevin, Jénnika, and Mélina;
the great-grandfather of several great-grandchildren;
the dear brother of Anita, Jeanne D'Arc, and Bernard.
He was predeceased by several brothers and sisters.
He is also survived by several brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, cousins, nephews, nieces, and friends.
The family would like to thank the intensive care staff at Hawkesbury General Hospital for the excellent care provided.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Berthiaume Family Funeral Home, 416 McGill, Hawkesbury, ON. 877-632-8511
The funeral service will be held at St. Gregory of Nazianzus Church in Vankleek Hill on Saturday, June 20, 2026, at 11 a.m.
The family will be at the church starting at 10 a.m. to receive your condolences.
