DEATH NOTICE
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Johnathan Ryan Le Touzel, affectionately known as John or JR, on June 4, 2026, at the age of 31.
Born on April 10, 1995, in Ottawa, Ontario, John made his home in Alfred, Ontario. He was a dedicated electrician and proud business owner whose strong work ethic, determination, and entrepreneurial spirit earned the respect of colleagues, clients, and friends alike.
John had a deep love for the outdoors and found great joy in spending time in nature. Whether working, exploring, or relaxing with his beloved dogs, Hondo and Mocha, he embraced life with enthusiasm and a generous heart.
John leaves behind his beloved wife, Amélyanne (Amé) Schlichtig Le Touzel; his soon to be born baby, his parents, Douglas and Julie (née Seguin) Le Touzel; his parents-in-law, Sylviane Charette (Yves) and Steve Schlichtig; his grandparents, Richard and Ginette Seguin, Mark and Janet Le Touzel, and Wendy Turriff; his brother, Jackson (Abigail) and their daughter, Mackenzie; his sister-in-law, Gabryelle (Jerome); his uncle and business partner, Michael (Lina); his aunt, Lisa (John); his uncle, Daniel (Nathalie); as well as many cousins, extended family members, and dear friends who will miss him deeply.
A service will take place in private.
In memory of John, donations may be made to the Canadian Mental Health Association – Champlain East, 444 McGill Street, Suite 101, Hawkesbury, Ontario, K6A 1R2.
We will never forget you. Our hearts are shattered. We love you and will carry your memory with us always.

C est avec une grande tristesse que j'ai appris le décès de Jonathan. Il en était qu a l aube de sa vie. J offre mes plus sincères condoleances a Ame sa femme qui lui a offert le plus beau cadeau qu il soit. Être papa.
