Mrs. Renée Proulx Dubé of L'Orignal passed away on Wednesday, July 1, 2026, at the age of 85.

She was the loving wife of the late Fabien Noël Dubé;

the daughter of the late Henri Proulx and the late Marie-Antoinette Dansereau;

the beloved mother of Nathalie (Klaus Chopka), Jean-François (Katia Droniou), Philippe, and Julie (Jeffrey Joseph);

the grandmother of Lucas;

the dear sister of Georges (Louise Lamarre) and Marcel (June Knox).

She is also survived by several brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, cousins, nephews, nieces, and friends.

Warm and endearing, Renée touched the lives of many with her kindness.

She will be remembered for her generosity, her kindness, her energy, and her wonderful hospitality.

Devoted to her family and a woman of many projects, she successfully balanced work and family throughout her life.

The family invites family and friends to the Salon Funéraire Familial Berthiaume, 416 McGill, Hawkesbury, Ontario (877) 632-8511, on Friday, July 10, 2026, starting at 11 a.m. A memorial service will follow in the chapel at 2:00 p.m., and a reception will be held at the funeral home following the burial at St-Jean-Baptiste Cemetery in L’Orignal.
