Mrs. Gale Walsh of Hawkesbury passed away on Sunday, August 9, 2026, at the age of 64.
She was the loving wife of the late Laurier D’Aoust;
the daughter of the late Edouard Walsh and the late Angélina Guindon;
the beloved sister of Edna and Michel.
She was predeceased by two sisters, Aline and Lise, and one brother, Léonard.
She is also survived by several cousins, nephews, nieces, and friends.
The family wishes to thank the staff at Hawkesbury General Hospital for the excellent care provided.
We will remember Gale as a wonderful, generous, and loving person. She devoted much of her time to volunteer work, particularly at Paul VI School and the thrift store.
Always in good spirits and ready to give of her time, Gale knew how to spread joy and kindness wherever she went. She also loved spending time with her friends at the Turbo and sharing wonderful moments with them.
Gale will leave a cherished memory in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her.
Rest in peace, Gale. We will miss you.

The funeral service will be held at St. Peter the Apostle Parish in Hawkesbury on Friday, August 28, 2026, at 11 a.m. The family will be present starting at 10:30 a.m. to receive your condolences.
