DEATH NOTICE
Pierre Villeneuve of St-Eugène passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 14, 2026, at the age of 81.
He was the loving husband of Chantale Desbiens;
the father of Michel, Lyne, and Pierre;
the grandfather of several grandchildren;
the beloved brother of Gordon, Léo, Jeannette, Lucille, Monique, Nicole, and Sylvie.
He was predeceased by his parents, Gordon Villeneuve and Cécile Guindon, as well as his brother Eugène.
He is also survived by several brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, cousins, nephews, nieces, and friends.
The family would like to thank the staff at The Palace in Alexandria for the excellent care provided.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Berthiaume Family Funeral Home, 416 McGill, Hawkesbury, ON. 877-632-8511
The funeral service will be held at St-Eugène Parish, 1108 Labrosse, St-Eugène, Ontario, on Friday, November 13, 2026, at
11:00 a.m.
The family will be at the church starting at 10:30 a.m. to receive your condolences.
Pierre leaves behind the memory of a hardworking, generous man who was deeply devoted to others. When people say of someone, “He’d give the shirt off his back to someone in need,” that’s exactly who Pierre was. All those who had the good fortune to know him will cherish precious memories of him and his constant presence in their lives.
