DEATH NOTICE
Mr. Jules Deslauriers from Grenville passed away on Monday, November 2, 2026 at the age of 84.
He was the beloved husband of Vivian Deslauriers nee Pearce;
the son the late Delphis Deslauriers (Florence Lemerise) and the late Yvette Landriault;
the loving father of Michelle (Asgar Sadeghi) and Annemarie (Stéphane Giguère);
the adored grandfather of Darius, Kamron, Niloufar, Armin, Emma and Olivier;
the dear brother of Jacques (Colombe);
the special friend of Loraine Wathier.
He was predeceased by two brothers: Georges, Jean-Guy and a sister Denise.
The family wishes to thank the staff of the ICU of the Hawkesbury General Hospital for the excellent care given.
Jules Deslauriers lived a life rich in rhythm, creativity, and connection. In his early years, he was the heartbeat of the band, bringing energy and passion to the stage as a dedicated drummer. His hands were rarely still; when he wasn’t keeping time with his drumsticks, he was shaping beauty with his woodworking.
Jules also had a love for cars, especially the thrill of driving fast cars. A devoted sports fan, he loved watching hockey and football on his TV.
In his recent years, Jules found great joy in a good game of pool, bowling, and sharing laughs and stories with his close friends. He appreciated the energy of music and cherished time spent with his daughters and grandchildren. Jules will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all who shared in his rhythm and friendship.
Rest in peace, Jules. Your beat lives on in our hearts.
